DAMIAN SANDYS - Assistant Director

Damian is currently Associate Director for C Theatre and The Humble Theatre Company. He has directed five seasons of NewsRevue (Canal Café Theatre); the sell-out runs of Shakespeare For Breakfast and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (both Edinburgh Festival and subsequent London transfers); Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (The Queen's Birthday Celebrations); The London Revue (Hen and Chickens); Snoopy!!!, Honk!, Side By Side By Sondheim (Hot Box Productions); Twelve Angry Men (Ready Ay Ready Productions); Guys and Dolls (Old Fire Station). Assisting/Resident credits include: Mathilde (Simon Callow, George Square Theatre & Matt Ryan, Vaudeville Theatre); Me And My Girl (London Palladium); The Tolstoy Tales (Jodi de Souza, Camden People's Theatre). Damian has also worked with the directors on the world premiere of The Witches of Eastwick (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane for Cameron Mackintosh) and Honk! (The Royal National Theatre's tour with Julia McKenzie). Television credits include: First Say (Heather Mills for BBC Choice) and BBC News (BBC1).
